The Cumberland County Landfill has extended hours on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for trash drop-off* for North Newton Township, Hopewell Township, and Newburg Borough residents only.
This does not include items outside of the five (5) 30-gallon bags of non-hazardous household trash. Commercial and cash customers will NOT be accepted during this timeframe.
*North Newton Township residents have the opportunity to dispose of up to five (5) 30-gallon bags of trash FREE, per week, in addition to disposing of recyclables, by taking them to the Cumberland County Landfill during their normal operating hours.
Cumberland County Landfill’s normal hours of operation:
Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Residents Only: Tuesdays from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
