South Central Pennsylvania’s transportation leaders are inviting area residents to attend an online public meeting regarding the I-81 Improvement Strategy.
The online meeting opened September 15th and will close September 30th at the project website: www.i81southcentralpa.com.
The meeting will give everyone just over two weeks to review the details through video and interactive mapping. Your feedback will be used to establish priorities for the project.
The next steps will be to prioritize the Focus Areas and develop conceptual project alternatives for public review. One additional public meeting and feedback opportunity will be conducted before the strategy is finalized.
The end product will be a playbook of candidate projects and initiatives that will be used to set priorities for funding as resources become available. The planning process is expected to be completed in Spring 2021.
We hope you’ll visit the the project website today, participate in the virtual public meeting, and share your thoughts with us.
The I-81 Improvement Strategy is a collaborative effort between
